He is incredibly versatile, as he has gained expertise and accolades in many fields of medicine, including in pain and addiction management, cardiology, hormone replacement therapy, anti-aging medicine, and nutraceuticals.
He has worked as associate director and medical director in multiple South Florida emergency rooms and served on the board of the Florida American Heart Association. As the principal investigator on more than 20 major pharmaceutical trials, he is often invited to speak internationally on his work with non-habit forming alternative treatments for pain and addiction.
He has held board certifications in Internal Medicine, Bariatric Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Examination, and Forensic Psychology. He earned his MD from Autonomous University, Guadalajara, completed his internship and residency at two New York hospitals, and finished with his fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Diana is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is dedicated to establishing long, genuine relationships with her patients to help them stay out of hospital emergency rooms and achieve their true potential. She specializes in pain management and primary care, and her education and experience speaks for itself. She earned a BS in psychology and biology at the University of Houston followed by a BS in nursing at the University of Miami. After completing an acute care residence during which she learned to manage chronic, post-operative, and acute illnesses at the University of Miami Hospital, she continued her studies, receiving her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During this Masters program, Diana was recognized for her clinical experience and commitment to her profession and selected for three medical missions to provide acute and primary care to the people of rural Haiti and Dominican Republic. She continues to hold a passion for building community health, volunteering in the University of Miami Nursing school. She also has her suboxone certification for treating patients with addictions.
